A rhythmically undulating porcupine hide, extremely long claws, and sharp teeth, with the unbelievable ability to blend into any background flawlessly. Ben was used to strange things; he was a game designer for the number one best selling simulation experience on Earth. But now it would take new skills to brave this world he was in. No computers, no video games, just the Lord Technis and his evil desire to enslave the population of this planet, Silica. Ben finds friends here, and encounters an angel in a strange vision with apocalyptic implications. He will throw his lot in with a group of warriors called the Freeborn, and their fate will be decided on the plains before the White Spire. There they will find a new destiny at the edge of the world.
